I got a last minute call to DJ a party for Pathforward IT…some things just work out well. The party was at the downtown Westin and was slightly different because the room wasn’t completely closed off, which meant we basically got to party in one of the most busy lobbies in downtown Cincinnati. The best part about the location was the view, most of the room was glass and over look fountain square. At one point in the night we had people dancing in the street while we surrounded the windows.

Needless to say the party was a lot of fun. They had a band, Cover Model, for part of the night so it was cool to have that mix up the night. People won iPads and Nooks, ate lots of good food, drank a lot, and danced their faces off.

If you are an IT professional I recommend you keep your eye on this company, they are a great crew and they know how to treat their employees!

Wesseling/Webster Wedding

Alex and Abby’s wedding was nothing less than phenomenal. It was at the Gardens of Park Hills who always does a great job and had the place decorated like a wedding should. With about 350 people, the place was packed and so was the dance floor. Their guest were great, a few put on rehearsed dances and even sang to Abby. This was one of the most fun wedding’s have done in my day! Congratulations Abby and Alex!

Webster/Hellsten Wedding

Matt is a friend of mine that I worked with for a short time at Luxottica Retail. I was honored when he approached me about DJing his wedding. I was excited about the location as well because I hadn’t yet worked at the Cincinnati Club and I’ve heard nothing but great things. Come to find out the bride, Myanna is a volleyball coach at University of Cincinnati, which explained why 80% of the guest were six foot or taller. Even with being a smaller wedding, there were plenty of young and fun guest who kept the dance floor packed most of the night. My favorite part was watching Myanna be so involved on the dance floor and enjoy her big day. Congratulations Matt and Myanna!

Wellington Orthopaedic Christmas Party

Wellington Orthopaedic has hired me to DJ their Christmas party for about 5 years now. They are always a very energetic and fun crowd. I’ve seen over the years they’ve grown in numbers but they still haven’t lost that cut loose personality. I’ve really enjoyed these events and I hope there are many more to come.

Brown/McVay Wedding

Ryan and Lindsey are a really cool couple and had some great friends who knew how to have a great time. Their wedding was held at Meadowview Farm in Boone county, a horse farm with unreal surroundings, I highly recommend it! I really liked their setup, it was a tent that sat along a ridge. When we setup under these tints the lights really look neat bouncing around, it adds a lot to dance floor. Ryan and Lindsey’s guest were like flipping a switch, as soon as we opened the dance floor they went full speed from that point on. So much so we extended a half an hour of dancing. When the reception was over I was pressured into playing one last song as the crowd chanted “one more song, one more song”.

Smith/Shawhan Wedding

I have to admit, I was a little worried when Rebecca and I first spoke and she told me she only wanted country music played the entire night of her reception. So knowing we are here to grant the wishes of the Bride and Groom all country is what we did. I traveled on up to the Clermont County Fair Grounds and gave it all I had. Now I’ll admit that the all country wedding thing was actually a great time! After some fantastic speeches by the best man and maid of honor the bridal party gathered together to toast with a shot of whiskey, I knew they were out for a good time after that! Thanks for keeping me diverse Rebecca and Dan, I had a great time at your wedding!

Casey/Mueller Wedding

Lori and Jeff’s wedding was held at receptions in Eastgate which was very nice. They had the place decorated beautifully and had some of the best favors I’ve ever seen, bottles of Wine from Tino Vino. Lori is a good friend and it was an honor to DJ her wedding. The guest never left the dance floor and neither did Lori and Jeff. I had a great time at a great wedding!

Rasso/Cope Wedding

Travis and Karen are some old college friends so I knew this was going to be an incredible time going in. I was more than right and all the guest were just as fun as I remember them being in our college years. I had the pleasure of taking care of the ceremony as well as the reception. The ceremony went great and the officiant was heard loud and clear thanks to the sound setup and wireless mic. After the ceremony we played some cocktail music outside them moved everything inside for the reception. The wedding was held at the beautiful Drees Pavilion which hosted no shortage of incredible views throughout the night.

AJ and Carly are a great couple and extremely nice people. They seemed so happy to have their friends and family there to enjoy there special day. AJ and Carly were very laid back about the night and just left it to me to play. There wedding was at The Meadows in Cleves Ohio. I loved the lights hanging across the dance floor which gave off the perfect glow for their first dance. Congratulations AJ and Carly!
